Corporate/M&A Attorney

Peters Kussmaul Crosier PLLC (PKC) is adding an experienced corporate/M&A attorney to our transactional team in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

We’re a growing boutique business law firm representing entrepreneurs, closely held businesses, investors, and business owners in acquisitions, sales, and general corporate matters. A significant portion of this role will involve representing buyers and sellers in small‑business and lower‑middle‑market M&A transactions.

We intentionally maintain a substantially lower billable expectation than most private‑practice firms. Our annual target is approximately 1,200 billable hours, and we offer a flexible hybrid environment focused on excellent work rather than face time.

We’re looking for an attorney who is ready to take meaningful ownership of transactions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable independently managing small‑business and lower‑middle‑market M&A matters, working directly with clients and opposing counsel, and supervising junior attorneys.

The role:

• Base compensation of approximately $160,000–$200,000, depending on experience
• Annual billable target of approximately 1,200 hours
• Hybrid schedule with substantial flexibility
• Significant client contact and responsibility
• Opportunity to work directly with firm leadership and help build a growing transactional practice

Ideal background:

• Approximately 4-7 years of meaningful corporate transaction and M&A experience
• Experience drafting and negotiating purchase agreements and related transaction documents
• Ability to independently manage matters and deadlines
• Strong client communication and practical judgment
