As an Access Control Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri10:00 PM - 06:30 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; verify credentials; manage visitor access; and direct individuals to appropriate hospital locations. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of facility areas, parking locations, and the perimeter, reporting security-related concerns to appropriate personnel. Maintain accurate access-control, visitor, and incident documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures and applicable privacy requirements. Minimum Requirements: Have at least one year of security-related experience. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
