Behavioral Healthcare Provider 2 Work Location: Statewide Job Summary/Description The Behavioral Healthcare Provider is responsible for developing, coordinating, implementing, and delivering interdisciplinary services that integrate behavioral and biomedical sciences. This role applies relevant knowledge and techniques to the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of health conditions. The provider independently delivers behavioral healthcare services within their credentialed scope of practice and may act as lead workers or liaisons to other public or private support agencies. Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions Serve as lead worker over lower-level behavioral healthcare providers or independently create and implement treatment plans for clients Coordinate admission, assessment, evaluation, and treatment planning throughout the client care cycle Provide interventions for acute and more complex client cases Manage cases involving multiple factors and challenges, including crisis intervention Participate in establishing, implementing, and directing behavioral healthcare programs and treatment system goals Develop and design treatment intervention techniques and procedures; evaluate and adjust treatment systems based on client progress and behavioral change Assess performance of lower-level behavioral healthcare providers in administering prescribed treatment plans and maintain required documentation to comply with federal, state, and local regulations Actively participate in treatment teams, training sessions, departmental procedure meetings, and policy review meetings Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with other facilities, agencies, and support services to coordinate referrals and follow-up care Minimum Qualifications Licensed Registered Nurse with certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist or equivalent credential. #J-18808-Ljbffr SoftPath Medical
