Anesthesiologist

Danbury and Norwalk Hospitals, part of Nuvance Health and Northwell Health, are seeking full-time Anesthesiologists to join their expanding employed group in Fairfield County, Connecticut. Both day/non-call and call positions are available, with opportunities for new graduates and those with regional fellowship training. This role offers a chance to join a large, established program with teaching opportunities and a highly competitive compensation package.

Practice Info

• Join a growing employed group of approximately 40 physicians and 40 CRNAs.
• Cover a variety of cases including spine, orthopedics, cardiac, and obstetrics.
• Provide 24/7 coverage at Danbury, Norwalk, New Milford, and Sharon Hospitals.
• Danbury Hospital is a 371-bed Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year.
• Norwalk Hospital is a 366-bed Level II Trauma Center with approximately 50,000 ED visits per year.
• Affiliated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean, and Yale School of Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Teaching to residents, medical students and CRNA students.

Compensation

• Salary Range: $430,000-$600,000 annually depending on the schedule, subspecialty, and experience.

Requirements

• Board certified/eligible in Anesthesia (required)
