Full Time Bowling Green, KY, US 3 days ago Requisition ID: 3018 Summary This position is responsible for repairing and maintaining electrical systems of industrial establishments by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes. Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous. Connects wire to motors, fixtures, and other electrical equipment, replaces switches and fuses, and splices wire and insulates wire with friction tape. Cleans work area, tools, and equipment.
