This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM with a rotating on-call/weekend schedule.

Job Description

As a Hospice Registered Nurse, you will provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families during challenging times. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of those you serve, allowing you to fulfill your calling as a nurse.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned caseload of patients, leading an interdisciplinary team to provide personalized care.
• Assist patients and families in identifying personal goals of care.
• Educate caregivers to ensure confidence in providing care to their loved ones.
• Utilize strong clinical skills to assess patient needs and manage symptoms effectively.
• Provide care in various settings including private homes, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

MUST HAVE hospice experience and a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
