Senior Therapuetic Area Specialist, Cardiovascular Community - Belleville, IL

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist for cardiovascular medicine in the Belleville, IL region. This field-based role drives adoption of BMS cardiovascular products through scientific engagement with healthcare providers and develops strong relationships with regional thought leaders and community physicians.

Responsibilities

Promote approved BMS cardiovascular products to meet assigned sales targets in defined territory
Conduct in-office presentations and scientific discussions with healthcare providers on product information
Develop and maintain expertise on assigned products and emerging clinical data for approved indications
Organize external speaker programs and manage logistics with approved speakers
Gather and share customer insights with internal stakeholders to improve engagement

Requirements

Advanced scientific degree or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience in sales, medical science liaison, healthcare, or nursing
Ability to communicate clinical and scientific data accurately to physicians
Demonstrated track record building credibility with healthcare providers and influencers
Cardiovascular experience preferred
Strong account management and sales competencies with proven record of meeting/exceeding goals
Effective cross-functional collaboration with team-oriented mindset
