Charge Nurse

Charge Nurse- RNWage range: $49 to $64/hourPrevious experience as a Resident Care Manager (RCM) is a plus!The Charge Nurse- RN has 24-hour accountability for the care of all residents assigned to their units. The Charge Nurse's name will appear on the residents' medical record and on the care plan. They collaborate with all members of the healthcare team to develop and maintain the highest quality of nursing care for their assigned residents. The Charge Nurse works under the direction of the Director of Nursing Services.Performance ResponsibilitiesAdheres to state regulations concerning delivery of resident care and assures that services are provided and documented in the medical record.Demonstrates knowledge and judgement concerning resident care delivery and utilizes the nursing process.Demonstrates observation skills for obvious and subtle changes in resident condition.Demonstrates the ability to establish priorities and organize time effectively.Demonstrates leadership abilities.Demonstrates written and verbal communication skills.Assumes responsibility for professional growth and continuing education.Participates in education of staff, residents and families.EducationCompletion of Accredited Licensed Nursing Program (RN)BS Degree, preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and related professional experienceExperience/TrainingMinimum of 1 year professional managerial experience in related fieldClinical observation and assessment skillsProficient computer skills necessary to complete documentation, review electronic health records and communicate with team membersCertificates, Licenses, RegistrationsCurrent RN licenseCurrent CPR certificationWhat's in it for you?At HumanGood, we're driven by purpose—reimagining senior living and creating communities where older adults can thrive.
