Medical Technologist

Medical Technologist Job in Miami Beach, FL. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Perform clinical laboratory testing including hematology, coagulation, urinalysis and clinical Chemistry testing. Analyze and report test results. Perform and document Quality Control procedures. Report significant deviations and document corrective actions. Maintain a minimum inventory of reagents and supplies to ensure adequate patient care. Education and Experience Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Clinical Laboratory, Medical Technology, Biological Science, or a related field and five years of progressive experience as a Medical Technologist or related. Experience Requires a Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist license (or eligible). Require experience with clinical laboratory testing including hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, and clinical chemistry; and troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of analyzers and lab equipment. Require ability to work at night shift.
