Electro Mechanical Technician -- KEWDC5803933

About the Role

You will be responsible for assembling and building robotic systems and components. This is a hands-on role where you follow instructions to create high-quality mechanical and electrical parts used in production and testing.

You will work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure everything is built correctly and functions properly.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical parts using instructions and diagrams
• Build wiring, cables, and system components to quality standards
• Install and connect systems like sensors, power units, and control systems
• Perform basic testing, inspection, and calibration
• Identify and report defects or missing parts
• Repair or rework components when needed
• Maintain clean and organized workstations
• Support inventory handling and production materials
• Follow safety and quality guidelines (including ESD standards)
• Track and record build progress and production data
• Help with final assembly, testing, and shipment preparation
• Suggest improvements to processes and instructions

Basic Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing, automotive, construction, aerospace, or similar fields
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery
• Basic English communication skills
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments (lifting, bending, climbing, etc.)
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with wiring, cable assembly, and electrical connections
• Ability to cut, route, bundle, and secure wires
• Experience assembling electro-mechanical systems
• Ability to repair, modify, and reassemble components
• Familiarity with production processes and equipment
