We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and self-starting hygienist who enjoys building relationships with patients and contributing to a positive, team-focused environment. While we prefer candidates with at least one year of clinical experience, we are open to considering new graduates who are eager to learn and grow.Schedule:Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMFriday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PMPart-time candidates will also be considered.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and patient assessments.Perform patient screenings, take dental radiographs, and document findings accurately.Educate patients on oral health, home care routines, and preventive treatment recommendations.Partner closely with doctors and team members to deliver an exceptional patient experience.Identify and communicate treatment needs while helping patients understand the importance of recommended care.Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.Follow all infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols.Contribute to a positive, efficient, and team-oriented clinical environment.QualificationsCurrent dental hygienist license (or eligibility for licensure) in the state of North Carolina.At least one year of dental hygiene experience preferred.New graduates are encouraged to apply.Dentrix experience is preferred but not required.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Friendly, approachable, and patient-focused demeanor.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and stay productive in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and creating positive patient experiences.About Sylvan Valley DentalAt Sylvan Valley Dental, we are a fast-paced, fun, and goal-oriented practice that is committed to delivering outstanding patient care.
