Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Farmington, New Mexico. This role involves providing high-quality care to adult to geriatric patients with a focus on Cardiology and Intermediate Care (IMC). The RN will be responsible for managing a variety of cardiac-related conditions and ensuring patient safety and comfort within a 24-bed unit.

Job Details:

• Shift: Night shift (1900-0730), 12 hours shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Associate Degree in Nursing or higher, state RN license, 2 years of Cardiology or Intermediate Care (IMC) experience, and BLS & ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in IMC & Cardiac Care settings.
• Float: Float to any unit of need is expected, including PCU, Medical, Surgical, and Nephrology.
• Additional Information: The unit features standard cardiology monitoring equipment, IV pumps, and crash carts. Patients are adult to geriatric with diagnoses including STEMI, Non-STEMI, Stroke, Post Cath, and ETOH. Responsibilities include monitoring telemetry, managing titrating drips, and providing comprehensive cardiac care.
