This position will include outpatient clinic duties, participation in research activities related to nutrition and health outcomes and teaching duties as a faculty member of the Department of Pediatrics. Responsibilities CLINICAL – Anticipated 7-8 half‑day outpatient clinical sessions per week in USF Health clinics. Duties include preparing for clinic, reviewing patient records, documenting encounters, patient correspondence, and follow‑up clinical tasks. Participation in patient support through telephone or electronic communication as needed. RESEARCH – Participation in research activities related to nutrition and health outcomes, which may include study design, patient recruitment, data collection, analysis, manuscript preparation, grant development, collaboration with faculty on ongoing studies, and contribution to publications and presentations. TEACHING – May include lectures, small group facilitation, or precepting dietetic interns. OTHER – Other duties as assigned, including presenting at grand rounds, teaching medical students, residents, and dietetic interns, providing in‑services for clinical staff, precepting interns or students in clinic. Responsible to a Chair or other appropriate higher‑level administrator of a State university. Responsible for teaching, service, and related activities. May be responsible for research and/or academic advising and related activities. May represent the university, college/school, or department/unit on university and/or Statewide committees. Qualifications Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate field of specialization or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Instructor. Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
