Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience working with students who have a variety of disabilities (mild to moderate and/or severe/profound)
- Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills for working closely with parents, staff, and administration
- Ability to create engaging, inclusive classroom environments
- Positive attitude, adaptability, and strong organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver customized lesson plans tailored to each student’s IEP goals
- Maintain accurate recordkeeping for progress monitoring and compliance
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with parents, therapists, and fellow educators
- Implement a range of instructional strategies and classroom management techniques
- Foster a supportive, safe, and encouraging classroom atmosphere
- Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth
