Infusion Registered Nurse

Nurse – Infusion TherapySchedule10-hour day shifts, 4 days a week. Every third Saturday required.Assignment DetailsGuaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly. Contract Length: 13 weeks.Requirements2 years of experience with chemotherapy administration required.Current ONS chemotherapy provider card and BLS certification required.Epic experience is required.Experience with accessing and deaccessing IVADs, PICC lines, and starting peripheral IVs is necessary.Experience with Alaris infusion pumps is required.ResponsibilitiesAdminister chemotherapy, medical infusions, and blood transfusions.Manage infusion therapy in an ambulatory setting.Perform phlebotomy and access/deaccess IVADs as needed.Monitor patients and document care in the electronic medical record.Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.Compliance / NotesRTO not requested at the time of submission will not be approved. Orientation is 1 week; facility-specific forms and competencies will be assigned prior to arrival. Scrubs are any color.
