Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds - 17 Number of Staff – 23 Type of staff: Day Shift – 2 CNCs, 8 RNs, and 2 PRN RNs Night Shift - 1 CNC, 7 RNs, and 3 PRN RNs Patient Ratios – 1:1 to 4:1 Type of equipment - Phillips monitors, Giraffe isolettes, Hamilton ventilators EMR - Meditech

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. At least 1 year of level 3 NICU experience NRP Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Transition nurse experience Experience with lactation List typical procedures performed on unit(s): UAC and UVC insertion Intubation Best personality fit: Kind hearted Self motivated

Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment: Our NICU is a small unit where the staff is more like a family than coworkers. The nurses here take pride in the amazing care they provide to neonatal patients and their families, and it is proven in our patient outcomes. We work very closely with the Neonatologists, Nurse Practitioners, and the multidisciplinary team; the nursing staff is pushed to be a strong advocate for their patient and to help create the daily plan of care.
