About the Position

Contract RN – Labor & Delivery | San Antonio, TX

Facility: Methodist Metropolitan Hospital
Location: San Antonio, TX
Unit: Women's Pavilion – Labor & Delivery
Contract: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Weekend/Call: Discuss during interview

Requirements:

• 2+ years of hospital/L&D experience
• Active Texas RN license — temporary license not accepted
• BLS, ACLS, NRP
• Intermediate & Advanced Fetal Monitoring
• Strong fetal monitoring experience
• Meditech experience preferred

Unit Details:

• 16 LDRs, 5 OBED/Triage beds, 7 Antepartum beds
• Typical patient ratio: 1:2
• Fetal monitoring equipment
• EMR: Meditech / CPN
• Unit Clerk & OR Tech available 24/7
• Procedures: Vaginal deliveries & C-sections
• Floating required as needed

Scrubs: Navy scrub top/pants; navy or white scrub jacket
Other: Clean/healthy nails, neat hair, trimmed facial hair, and visible body art/piercings must follow hospital policy.
