Production Associate (Promotable)
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Job Overview
We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented General Production Labor Associates to join our manufacturing team. This is a promotable position offering opportunities for growth within the company. Team members play a vital role in ensuring product quality, maintaining a safe work environment, and supporting production operations.
Production Primary Responsibilities

• Band and secure finished pallets
• Perform rework and sorting of cartons
• Separate defective cartons from quality cartons
• Feed cartons into the gluer machine
• Visually inspect cartons for gluing, folding, and other quality defects
• Pack cartons into corrugated cases according to customer specifications
• Apply case labels and move completed cases through the sealing process
• Sort flat cartons by layout and customer specifications
• Operate a hand pallet jack to move materials and maintain an ergonomic work area
• Gather production materials as needed (corrugated, labels, plastic, banding, pads, etc.)
• Report quality concerns immediately to supervisors
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety policies, and production guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while supporting 5S and SQF standards
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management

Production Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Basic math skills required
• Ability to read a ruler
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to obtain a forklift certification
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to quickly identify product defects
• Ability to stand for an entire 8-hour shift
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience is helpful but not required
