Competitive pay starting at $20.49/hour Multiple career levels with advancement opportunities Stable, full-time employment Overtime opportunities available Paid training and development Safety-focused workplace Industry leader with over 45 years of success Opportunities to learn receiving, shipping, inventory, forklift operations, and wire processing Distribution Center Associate Levels & Pay Ranges DCA 1: $20.49 - $23.21/hr DCA 2: $23.22 - $26.29/hr DCA 3: $26.30 - $28.92/hr Distribution Center Associate Responsibilities: Wire Processing & Value-Added Services Operate specialized production equipment including Rim Drives and Re-spoolers used to cut wire to customer specifications Support value-added services including striping, dyeing, wire stripping, twisting, lashing, and other wire-processing activities Maintain quality standards during all production processes Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Operate forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment Pull, stage, and put away inventory Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers Support order fulfillment and inventory movement throughout the facility Receiving Inspect incoming materials for quantity, quality, and condition Verify purchase orders, packing slips, and bills of lading Accurately process inventory transactions within warehouse systems Prepare inventory for storage and distribution Shipping & Order Fulfillment Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment Process LTL and parcel shipments Ensure orders are accurately packaged and shipped on time Support customer satisfaction through shipment accuracy and quality Safety, Housekeeping & Equipment Maintenance Follow all safety policies and operating procedures Complete required equipment inspections and checklists Maintain a clean, organized work environment Support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the distribution center Work Experience What You'll Need Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent Basic math and problem-solving skills Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team Effective verbal communication skills Willingness to work overtime or occasional weekends when business needs require Ability to bend, twist, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly Ability to stand and walk throughout an 8-hour shift Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature fluctuations Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen Benefits Build a Career, Not Just a Job At OmniCable, Distribution Center Associates develop skills across receiving, shipping, inventory management, forklift operations, order fulfillment, and wire-processing services.
