Job Title: Infection Prevention Specialist

Location: New York, 10032

Pay- $21 - $26/hr

Location: New York, NY 10032

16-Week Contract, Possible Extesnion

Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Weekends Included) - Up to 21 Hours per Week

 

Requirements

✔ High School Diploma or GED with matriculation in a 2-year or 4-year college program

✔ Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

✔ Ability to work with diverse patient and community populations

✔ Must be willing to travel across all campuses

 

Responsibilities

• Monitor hand hygiene compliance and infection prevention practices
• Observe staff adherence to isolation precautions and PPE requirements
• Conduct quality assurance checks on shared mobile equipment
• Educate healthcare workers on infection prevention best practices
• Document and communicate observation findings to leadership teams
• Support compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and Department of Health standards
• Travel between hospital campuses to conduct observations and audits
