Contract | Travel | Days | 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM | 13-Week Assignment | Expected Start: November 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia nursing care in a 40-bed PACU unit at a patient ratio of 1:2
• Monitor and manage patients on ventilators as part of advanced clinical responsibilities
• Perform and document patient assessments and interventions using the Cerner electronic documentation system
• Participate in call shifts as required per scheduling guidelines (3 call shifts per 6-week schedule)
• Float within the peri-anesthesia service line, including Endoscopy, Pre-Op, and Phase II areas as needed
• Collaborate with unit support staff including HUCs and PCTs for lab draws, catheterizations, and patient transport

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale experience required
• Minimum 2 years of PACU or relevant RN experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma nursing experience
• Pediatric patient care experience
• Familiarity with Cerner documentation system
• Experience with standard PACU equipment and peri-anesthesia workflows
