Job Title

CT Technologist – Night Shift

Location

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment (CT scanner, Power Injector, Laser Printer, patient monitoring devices) to acquire diagnostic images in accordance with departmental protocols
• Ensure proper patient preparation, positioning, immobilization, and use of protective shielding; explain exams with consideration for patients' physical and emotional needs
• Perform venipuncture for contrast administration under the direction of a radiologist, following all applicable policies and procedures
• Execute Radiology Information System (RIS) functions including scheduling exams, completing exams, and transferring images to PACS
• Calibrate and verify equipment operation daily; report malfunctions and coordinate necessary repairs
• Float among radiology clinics and associated divisions as needed, and participate in on-call coverage with flexibility across shifts

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Current Massachusetts State Radiologic and CT Technologist license required
• ARRT registration in CT (or equivalent) required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Siemens CT equipment experience required
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients under physical and/or emotional stress

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2–3 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with at least one year in CT
• Analytical ability to apply knowledge of imaging processes, techniques, procedures, and cross-sectional anatomy
• Experience mentoring or instructing radiology students or support personnel
