IT Support Technician
Location: Bedford Heights, OH – Onsite
Pay Rate: $28.78/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Summary
Provide onsite technical support for laptops, desktops, and other hardware/software. Install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment at customer locations while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite IT support for assigned customers.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain laptops, desktops, and related equipment.
- Perform hardware break-fix and basic installation services.
- Take ownership of service requests from start to completion.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues using standard tools and procedures.
- Assist other technicians with technical issues when needed.
- Document service activities, repairs, and customer interactions.
- Identify recurring technical issues and recommend improvements.
- Communicate with customers to ensure issues are resolved properly.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Technical certification or Associate Degree may be preferred.
- 2+ year of hands-on laptop and desktop break-fix experience.
- Computer building or assembly experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of laptop/desktop hardware and software.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues.
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle and valid car insurance.
- Must be able to work onsite at customer locations.
- Client or government security clearance may be required.
- Criminal/background verification may be required.
