Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:
- We require a bachelors degree in a STEM discipline, with a preference for Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- We seek verifiable experience building large-scale data workflows that make data accessible to data engineers, data scientists, and machine learning engineers.
- We require experience creating, maintaining, and clearly communicating complex information technology documentation.
- We prefer a Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) credential.
- We prefer proficiency with modeling frameworks such as Universal Modeling Language (UML).
- We prefer experience with the sponsors primary cyber risk and compliance automation tools.
- We require an active Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
- We require the ability to remain stationary for 50% of the workday.
- We require the ability to occasionally move throughout the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, and similar resources.
- We require frequent communication with coworkers, management, and customers, which may include delivering presentations.
- We require the ability to exchange accurate information in these settings.
- We translate business requirements into technical specifications covering data streams, integrations, transformations, databases, data lakes, and data warehouses.
- We architect the ingestion and storage of data from multiple sources, including relational SQL and NoSQL databases such as SQL, MongoDB, and other platform APIs.
- We partner with database administrators and analysts to enable straightforward data access by designing database solutions and assessing requirements.
- We define the data architecture framework, standards, and principles for modeling, metadata, and security.
- We develop reference architectures and data flows that support integrated enterprise systems.
- We prepare detailed reports and design documents for leadership and directorates by analyzing and interpreting data.
