Job Description Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: Neonatology • Job Type: Permanent • Facility Location: Lexington, KY • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Reason For Coverage: Vacancy • Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Clinical Call • Work Schedule: TBD; Daytime • Call Schedule: TBD; Rotation - Nights (home call) & weekends • Annual Deliveries: 4,000 • Physicians in Practice: 2 • Support Staff: 2 strong neonatal NP support (daytime) - Home call during nights is supported by 24/7 in-house NNPs (nights) • Duties: - Managing care for infants from a busy newborn nursery service; Supporting approx. 4,000 annual deliveries - Performing & maintaining hands-on neonatal procedures - Participating in mentorship & professional development (especially supportive for new grads) • Beds in the Dept: 32 • NICU Level: III • Other Info: Open for fresh graduates; Team-based model practice.
