About This Role

The NP Artist Injector performs the same role as an RN Artist Injector — evaluating patients, delivering the full NakedMD treatment menu, building a loyal book of business, and documenting every encounter. The distinction is licensing. Where an RN Artist Injector practices within physician or NP oversight, the NP Artist Injector holds independent prescribing authority and a broader clinical scope. That means they can conduct Good Faith Exams in-studio where required by state law, prescribe injectables independently, and manage adverse events at the NP level without requiring escalation to a physician. Same treatment room, same patient standard, broader authority.

Annual Salary Range: $50-65/hour based on experience + bonus eligible 

What You’ll Own

Independent Patient Evaluation & Prescribing

•       Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations at the NP level — reviewing medical history, medications, allergies, and relevant health conditions — and make independent clinical judgments about treatment appropriateness and safety.

•       Perform Good Faith Exams (GFE) for your patient panel where required by state law, establishing a valid patient-provider relationship and documenting clinical findings in compliance with applicable telehealth and prescribing regulations.

•       Prescribe neurotoxins, dermal fillers, and other injectable products within your scope of practice and in accordance with NakedMD protocols and state prescribing authority.

•       Identify contraindications, precautions, and complex clinical presentations that require medical-level judgment — and manage them accordingly, escalating to the Medical Director when appropriate.

Patient Treatment Planning

•       Conduct thorough, individualized consultations that address each patient’s aesthetic concerns, goals, and overall well-being — integrating your NP-level clinical knowledge into every treatment recommendation.

•       Explain treatment options, anticipated aesthetic results, risks, and benefits with clinical precision and patient-centered communication.

•       Confidently and competently build and execute comprehensive, multi-step treatment plans from consultation through completion and follow-up.

•       Assist patients in scheduling and coordinating treatments across their plan, ensuring continuity of care and clear communication at every step.

•       Achieve individual sales targets through consultative selling, leveraging your clinical credibility to guide patients toward treatments that genuinely serve their goals.

Aesthetic Services & Technical Delivery

•       Perform the full range of NakedMD aesthetic services at an expert level: neurotoxins, hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, biostimulators, micro-needling, and medical-grade chemical peels.

•       Prepare injectables and treatment trays in compliance with NakedMD’s sterile preparation protocols.

•       Stay current on the latest aesthetic treatments, products, techniques, and clinical evidence — and apply that knowledge to both patient care and team discussions.

•       Acknowledge and remedy clinical mistakes openly and commit to continuous advancement of your aesthetic and clinical skills.

Patient Safety & Adverse Event Management

•       Prioritize patient safety above all else: inspect the injection room before every shift and maintain excellent hygiene and sterile standards throughout.

•       Decontaminate equipment, sanitize surfaces, and prepare the injection room to NakedMD’s protocols before, between, and after every treatment.

•       Manage adverse events and complications at the NP level — including emergency protocol execution, hyaluronidase administration, and escalation to the Medical Director with urgency and clinical precision.

•       Serve as a clinical resource for lower-licensed providers (RNs, PAs) on complex patient presentations, contraindication management, and adverse event response.

•       Honor and respect the diversity of our patients and their individual rights to care in every evaluation, consultation, and treatment.

Documentation & Compliance

•       Maintain accurate, complete medical documentation for every patient encounter — including prescriptions, detailed charting, before-and-after photos, GFE records, and treatment notes — in compliance with state NP practice and prescribing requirements.

•       Ensure all prescribing and clinical documentation meets applicable state-specific regulatory standards.

•       Assist with maintaining inventory levels as needed and flag supply concerns to the Clinical Manager.

What You Bring

•        Credentials:  Active, unrestricted NP license required (FNP, ANP, or AGNP preferred); DEA registration preferred where applicable.

•        Experience: 2+ years of aesthetic injecting experience; NP clinical practice experience required.

•        Technical Skills:  Expert-level proficiency in neurotoxins and HA fillers required; biostimulator, micro-needling, and chemical peel experience strongly preferred.

•        Independent Judgment:  You practice at the top of your license. You are comfortable making independent prescribing and clinical decisions and do so with precision and accountability.

•        Adverse Event Readiness:  You know how to recognize a complication, respond calmly, and manage it clinically. You don’t wait for someone else to take the lead.

•        Patient Focus:  Your NP training makes you a better injector and a more trusted clinician. Patients feel the difference.

•        Documentation Rigor:  Your charts are complete, compliant, and timely. You understand that NP-level documentation is a legal document, not an afterthought.
