Overview
Physical Therapist, General — Gloversville, NY, United States. Start date 10/12/2026 for a 13-week assignment with weekly pay of $350-$355 and guaranteed hours of 8 per week. Shift is 8-hour daytime shifts on an 8x1 schedule with Saturdays only; assignment setting is a long‑term care/nursing home environment.

- Conduct initial and ongoing physical therapy evaluations for residents in a long-term care setting; develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver evidence-based PT interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, gait, and functional independence.
- Reassess resident progress regularly; adjust treatment plans and goals; document outcomes in the patient record.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nursing staff, therapy assistants, physicians) to coordinate care and support discharge planning and home exercise programs.
- Educate residents and families on treatment options, safety, and transportation considerations; ensure sessions follow safety protocols and infection control standards. Requirements
- Current New York Physical Therapist license
- BLS certification required
- Prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or similar long-term care setting required
- Availability to work Saturdays; able to participate in a Saturday-only schedule as specified Benefits and Support
