Position Summary: We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter to join our team in Marlborough, MA. This hands-on role is essential to ensuring that our HVAC and weatherization projects are completed with the finishing touches that turn a job site into a livable space. The ideal candidate will have experience with residential carpentry, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to high-quality work.
Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs and installations of drywall and ceilings following HVAC and weatherization upgrades
- Install drop-down attic staircases for insulation and home energy audits
- Handle occasional subfloor and floor repairs as needed during or after HVAC system installations
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on job sites
- Collaborate with other technicians and project managers to ensure smooth workflows and project timelines
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Ensure all work meets local building codes and Endless Energy quality standards
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in residential carpentry or general contracting
- Proficiency in drywall patching, taping, and finishing
- Experience installing attic stairs, trim, or working in finished residential spaces
- Comfortable using ladders, power tools, and working in attics or crawl spaces
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varied weather conditions
- OSHA 10 certification preferred, or willingness to obtain
