Alto Health Care Staffing is seeking skilled nurses to join our Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) in beautiful Warsaw, WI. General Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day nursing care, including trach vent patients and comprehensive assessments.
• Work in a 20-bed medical surgical critical care step-down unit with RN ratios of 3-4 patients per nurse during day and evening shifts, and 4 patients per nurse on night shifts.
• Care for patients with a variety of medical/surgical diagnoses, following provider orders, documenting assessments and care plans.
• Utilize critical thinking and delegate tasks to nursing assistants as appropriate.
• Communicate effectively with the care team, including social workers, providers, charge nurses, CNAs, unit clerks, and other nursing staff.

Equipment Utilized

• EPIC computer charting
• Pyxis for medication dispensing
• Rover Med Scanners

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in telemetry nursing

Licensures and Certifications

• Wisconsin or Compact State RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications

Shift and Schedule

• 36 hours per week
• Required to work every other weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Floating to Other Units/Departments

• May float to acute care areas within scope

Unit Details

• 20-bed unit
• Nurse to patient ratio: 4:1 on night shift

Any color of professional scrubs is permitted.

Training and Orientation

Our comprehensive orientation program includes normal HR and EPIC training, followed by two 12-hour shifts of on-floor orientation to ensure you feel confident and prepared.
