The Opportunity The Part‑Time Associate reports to the Store Manager and performs management‑assigned duties, which may include but are not limited to receiving inventory, stocking and maintaining a store section, operating a cash register, carry‑out services and store cleaning. Specific duties include, but are not limited to: Maintain a store section, order, receive and stock merchandise, assure proper pricing, check product date codes, stock shelves, end displays, floor stacks, and refrigerated/frozen cases; prepare perishable products; set up advertising displays; review invoices for accuracy. Clean and maintain sanitation standards in interior and exterior areas and parking lot. Operate a cash register, receive payment, make change or process checks, charges, and debit transactions; handle refunds; verify customer eligibility for alcoholic beverages. Offer friendly, knowledgeable, efficient assistance to customers and load purchases into vehicles when requested. Perform basic bookkeeping duties, record lost/damaged goods and store supplies.
