Job Title Reserve Deputy Constable – Part‑time 2 (Variable Time) Job Details Variable‑time part‑time position. Pay rate is determined on an hourly or shift basis and is commensurate with experience and duties. Responsibilities Supplement sworn full‑time law enforcement personnel of the Constable’s Office. Perform duty assignments in Court Security, Criminal and Civil warrants, Civil Process service, School program (priority), and special assignments as needed. Exercise arrest powers and enforce the law with the same authority as full‑time deputies. Maintain the training standards and professional conduct required of peace officers. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 16 hours per month. High school graduation or equivalent GED. Minimum age of 21 years. Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Peace Officer license. Valid Texas Class C driver’s license. U.S. citizenship. Good physical and mental health; no history of criminal or improper personal conduct.
