Travel Physical Therapist - $2,406 per week

Job Overview American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a 13‑week travel assignment in a rehab department, with experience across inpatient, outpatient, and/or home health settings. Assignment Details Start Date: 05/11/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hrs/wk (8‑hour shifts, rotating) Shift: rotating, 5x8hrs, Monday through Friday day shift with rotating weekend coverage Employment Type: Travel Assignment Requirements Current IL PT license required; license required if applicable. Valid driver's license and proof of personal auto insurance required. BLS required. Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience preferred. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively. APTA membership preferred. DOB and SSN may be required for consideration. Responsibilities Patient evaluation, treatment planning, and goal‑setting in collaboration with patients, families, and the rehab team. Supervise and direct Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and collaborate with other departments as needed. Maintain accurate, timely documentation including evaluations, progress notes, monthly notes, and discharge summaries.
