Robotics Programmer

Salary: $84,000 - 117,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree.
• We prefer experience programming industrial robots, especially FANUC, while backgrounds with ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa/Motoman, Universal Robots, or similar systems will also be considered.
• We look for proficiency in teach pendant programming and offline simulation tools.
• We value experience integrating vision systems, sensors, and industrial automation equipment.
• We need strong troubleshooting ability across robot motion, communications, I/O, and system faults.
• We expect the ability to read electrical schematics and understand PLC-based automation systems.

• We program, troubleshoot, and fine-tune industrial robots using teach pendants and offline programming software.
• We develop, test, and simulate robotic applications with FANUC RoboGuide or comparable simulation platforms.
• We create and update robot programs for material handling, machine tending, assembly, welding, inspection, and other automation workflows.
• We diagnose and resolve robot faults, alarms, communication problems, and production interruptions to reduce downtime.
• We recover robots from singularities, reach constraints, collision events, and other motion-related issues.
• We integrate and configure automation devices such as vision systems, sensors, scanners, and other peripherals, including Cognex, Keyence, and similar technologies.
• We interface robots with PLCs, HMIs, conveyors, and other production equipment.
• We carry out robot commissioning, startup, testing, and production support.
• We maintain robotic system documentation, backups, and change logs.
• We work closely with engineering, maintenance, and manufacturing teams to improve safety, reliability, and production efficiency.
