• Role Summary
• Lead the architecture, development, testing, and delivery of secure, scalable, cloud ready applications using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and Next.js while providing technical leadership to the engineering team.
• Required Skills
• Advanced Java expertise with Spring Boot, microservices, asynchronous processing, and enterprise design patterns.
• Strong experience designing secure REST APIs and distributed, high availability systems.
• Advanced Next.js, React, and TypeScript skills, including server side rendering, performance optimization, and scalable UI architecture.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, caching, messaging, and event driven architecture.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, API security, observability, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and AWS or Azure.
• Strong technical leadership, estimation, mentoring, stakeholder communication, and problem solving skills.
• Roles and Responsibilities
• Own solution design and technical delivery for Java and Next.js applications across the full SDLC.
• Define scalable backend, frontend, integration, security, data, and deployment architecture.
• Lead the development of Java microservices, REST APIs, Next.js applications, and shared components.
• Establish coding standards, configuration practices, quality gates, review processes, and test automation expectations.
• Review complex code, diagnose distributed system issues, and improve performance, availability, and maintainability.
• Lead architecture and sprint demonstrations and align technical decisions with business priorities.
• Plan and support SIT, UAT, release readiness, defect triage, production deployment, and post release stabilization.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, QA, DevOps, security, and operations teams to manage delivery risks.
• Mentor developers, assign technical work, and promote reusable engineering practices.
• Balance user needs, business objectives, compliance requirements, and technical constraints.

Subcon rate range: $55 to $60/hr
