Investment Consulting Performance Analyst

Aon is looking for an Investment Consulting Performance Analyst. Responsibilities include using technical, analytical, and communication skills to support consultants and clients in all aspects of data-related work. This role involves balancing financial account statements for clients' investment portfolios, auditing rates of return, and reconciling discrepancies of returns calculated by our performance system versus those calculated by custodians and/or investment managers. The position also requires finalizing financial information from multiple sources to prepare quarterly investment performance reports, gathering manager research documents pertinent to clients' portfolios, updating Risk Analyzer with cash flows to produce defined benefit client dashboards, responding to ad hoc requests from clients and/or consultants, composing written interpretations of investment portfolio results, and preparing discussion guides for client meetings. Additionally, the role involves meeting with senior members of client teams to discuss relevant client matters and/or issues.

Qualifications include excellent technical and analytical skills, outstanding accuracy and attention to detail, basic knowledge of capital markets and investments and/or keen interest in developing, proficiency with specific software packages (e.g. Microsoft Office), a bachelor's degree (majors such as accounting, business administration, economics, finance, mathematics, and statistics are generally preferred), and demonstrates excellent writing and communication skills. 0-1+ years of experience in the Investment space is preferred.

Pay Transparency Laws: The salary range for this position intended for U.S. applicants is $68,000 to $78,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
