Vascular Ultrasound Tech - Travel Job

Join our team as a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist (Vascular Sonographer) in Newton, MA, where you will perform vascular ultrasound examinations, prepare patients, document results, and support patient comfort and safety throughout procedures. You will use Doppler and color-flow imaging to assess blood flow, detect vascular abnormalities, and collaborate with physicians and radiologists to determine appropriate ultrasound protocols.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Required: Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) credential or ARDMS vascular specialty certification.
• Experience performing a range of vascular ultrasound examinations, including carotid, arterial, venous, and peripheral vascular studies.
• Experience using Doppler and color-flow imaging and maintaining/calibrating vascular ultrasound equipment.
• BLS certification.
• Experience working in a hospital or acute care environment preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two years of experience as a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist preferred.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a vascular lab or radiology setting preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:00-16:30.
• Work days: Tuesday through Friday.
• Position requires direct patient care.
