We are seeking an experienced HVAC Assistant Service Manager to support our service leadership team and help manage day-to-day operations for our residential HVAC service technicians . This position reports directly to the HVAC Service Manager and plays a key role in ensuring high-quality service, strong technician performance, and excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities: \n

As an HVAC Assistant Service Manager , you will assist with managing the service team and supporting the daily operations of the HVAC service department.

\n

• \n

  Assist with supervising and developing the HVAC service team , including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management

\n
• \n

  Help coordinate technician schedules, daily assignments, and service priorities

\n
• \n

  Support the Service Manager in maintaining efficient operations and high-quality service delivery

\n
• \n

  Monitor technician performance, workmanship, and customer satisfaction

\n
• \n

  Ensure materials, parts, and equipment are ordered and available for scheduled jobs

\n
• \n

  Review departmental reports including inventory, tools, vehicles, and service metrics

\n
• \n

  Conduct job site visits and inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met

\n
• \n

  Review payroll records to ensure technicians are properly compensated

\n
• \n

  Ensure technicians have the tools, equipment, and resources needed to complete service calls

\n
• \n

  Support dispatch operations to ensure appropriate technician assignment and scheduling

\n

Qualifications: What You’ll Bring\n

\n
• \n

  Vocational training or equivalent HVAC experience

\n
• \n

  Minimum 2 years of HVAC service field supervisory experience

\n
• \n

  Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

\n
• \n

  Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and financial awareness

\n
• \n

  Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office preferred)

\n
• \n

  Strong understanding of residential HVAC systems, service operations, and technician workflow

\n
