Please note, this is a part-time position and is not eligible for remote work. Candidates will be expected to work directly from our South Austin location. Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct initial dental assessments and interpret patient dental records.
• Perform routine dental cleanings and assist in the management of oral diseases.
• Educate patients on maintaining proper oral hygiene and preventive dental care.
• Collaborate with dentists to plan for patient care and treatment for oral health concerns.
• Ensure strict compliance with the office’s hygiene protocols, standards of dental care, and infection control measures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation as per the practice’s requirements.
• Utilize dental radiography equipment safely and effectively according to the established guidelines.
• Provide support and insight into the comprehensive dental care plans tailored to patient needs.
• Recommend products and devices for improved oral health maintenance.
• Stay updated with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies to enhance patient care.

Requirements

• Active Texas Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.
• Experience with Open Dental software preferred.
• Solid understanding of periodontal disease management and hygiene protocols.
• Comprehensive knowledge of infection control standards and clinical documentation requirements.
• Previous experience in a dental office environment preferred.
• Possess a friendly, positive demeanor that fosters a cooperative and collaborative team environment.
• Ability to handle dental instruments and equipment with precision and care.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and learning in dental hygiene and related fields.

Compensation & Benefits

• $60–$65 per hour , based on experience
• Monthly bonus opportunities based on overall office production
• Part-time schedule: 3 days per week
• No evenings or weekends
