Investment Banking Analyst

Duties & Responsibilities Lincoln International is seeking an Analyst to join our Business Services, M&A practice in Richmond, VA. The Analyst will master financial analysis and research skills, work on transactions from start to finish, serve as the analytical anchor for the deal team, and prepare, complete, and ensure the accuracy of financial modeling and analysis. The Analyst will interpret results, pose questions, draw conclusions, prepare client presentations, and support due diligence and marketing activities. Prepare marketing materials for sell‑side and buy‑side M&A assignments Identify potential acquirers / targets Conduct industry and company‑specific research Ensure the accuracy and quality of all presentation materials Support the due diligence process Interact with clients on a regular basis Attend client meetings Support the marketing activities of the firm as they relate to an industry or engagement Program Benefits Responsibilities limited only by ability rather than a formal job description High levels of exposure to senior professionals within the firm Unparalleled client interaction Opportunity to be promoted to Associate and beyond Opportunity to contribute to global growth and work overseas Qualifications Assertive and self‑motivated, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment, detail‑oriented Strong writing, verbal communication, and computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Bachelor’s degree required 2‑3 years of experience in sell‑side M&A required Minimum GPA of 3.5 required Additional Information Lincoln International is not currently hiring individuals for this position who now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status.
