CNC Operator
Pay: $35/hr
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM + OT
Location: Devens, MA
Position: Direct Hire
We are seeking an experienced ** CNC Operator** to join a growing manufacturing team. This position will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC laser equipment while ensuring quality and dimensional accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC laser machines
- Read and interpret blueprints and geometric tolerances
- Make machine adjustments and understand feed rates, power settings, and material properties
- Work with G-code and make basic program adjustments
- Use measuring tools, microscopes, and basic fixturing
- Perform quality inspections to ensure parts meet specifications
- Follow written and visual instructions and maintain accurate production flow
Requirements:
- CNC setup and operating experience
- Ability to read blueprints and understand geometric tolerances
- G-code/programming knowledge
- Experience with vector manipulation and drawing software
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to use measuring equipment
- Background in manufacturing preferred
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder due to ITAR requirements
