Certified Medical Assistant

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility in New Albany, IN 47150. This is a 3+ month contract assignment (convertible to permanent based on your work performance). and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Specific Duties: Rooming patients, assisting providers, and other duties include medication refills, return calls/providing results to patients, administering injections, etc . Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of preferred experience High school graduate or GED equivalent Current, nationally recognised Medical Assistant certification Current BLS certification (through an approved American Heart Association Training Centre or the Military Training Network) at the time of hire or within 30 days of hire Requirements : Basic computer literacy required, with intermediate Excel skills Knowledge of medical terminology required The ability to react calmly and effectively in emergencies is required Good communication and customer service skills required Preferred Education.
