Industry Code: Wholesale Trade 424000 Non-Durable Goods Job Code: A9E53-3031(05) FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Flux Pay Structure Preferred/Hourly) Department: Sales Distribution Department of Labor: 53-3031 DRIVER/SALES WORKERS WHOLESALE TRADE SOC 913 Description Drive a delivery truck with a capacity of less than 26,000 pounds gross vehicle weight (GVW). Load/unload product at customer locations for established routes by driving a box truck or tractor-trailer. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Service customers assigned to the route based on the scheduled time-stopped ranking. Must adapt to any changes in work assignments as well as support organizational restructuring efforts. Follow accounts receivable guidelines set by the trade/customer when checking in orders (DSD, PO#, Military, Receipt, or Stamp) with the customer. Place the product in our designated area and/or move the pallet display directly to the floor. Pick up all shells/flats, returned pallets, and damaged or out-of-date products. Merchandise assigned stops as scheduled per management. Communicates issues, problems, or opportunities with the sales team and delivery team.
