Responsibilities

WellSpan Health, a not-for-profit, community-based health care system in central Pennsylvania is seeking a Family Physician to join the team of providers at our Community Health Center in York . We are looking for someone who shares our goals of providing high quality, culturally sensitive care to the underserved .

WellSpan Primary Care practices now utilize Epic’s Ai scribe that ambiently listens to the patient visit and generates a clinical note in the EPIC electronic health record for the provider.

Position Highlights:

• Join 9 other providers offering family medicine and pediatric care to the underserved population in the city of York

• Full time, outpatient position - 35 hours a week of direct patient care

• Call schedule is 1:9 and all calls are triaged by our nurse call center

• We offer MAT of Suboxone, transgender care/hormone replacement and HIV meds

• Practice augmented by full-time Spanish interpreters as well as virtual access to interpretation services, access to Social Work and Community Health Worker and educational pharmacist.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or

• Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or

• Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required and

• Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

• Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine, or Board eligible. Upon Hire Required and

• Completion of a Family Medicine residency. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Administrative skills.
