What’s a typical day as an Assembly Worker? You’ll be:

• Preparing and assembling components and electromechanical assemblies independently
• Reading blueprints, process instructions, schematics, and mechanical drawings to assemble complex units
• Inspecting, testing, and adjusting completed units to meet specifications and customer requirements
• Assembling, positioning, aligning, and fastening units using hand and power tools
• Connecting cables, tubes, and wiring according to specifications; disassembling units for part replacement or shipping
• Measuring parts with precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and verniers
• Operating automated assembling equipment, robotics, and small cranes
• Conducting tests and inspections of products or processes for quality assurance
• Monitoring gauges and indicators to ensure proper machine operation
• Troubleshooting operating errors and performing routine maintenance

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma or GED and 2-4 years of related assembly experience
• Are computer literate in MS Word and Excel
• Possess excellent communication skills
• Enjoy hands-on work and are committed to meeting deadlines
• Use logic and reasoning to solve problems and improve processes
• Are able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Are available and willing to work overtime as needed
