Physician Assistant Disability Medical Evaluations

The IMA Group is looking for a Physician Assistant to join our team in Altoona, PA, performing independent medical evaluations for individuals applying for disability benefits. This is an evaluation-only role: no treatment, no on-call, no follow-up. You'll spend your time on what you do best, which is thorough, objective clinical assessments.

What You'll Do:

• Take medical histories and perform focused physical examinations
• Review diagnostic testing and medical records
• Document findings in clear, accurate, objective medical reports
• Submit completed evaluations through our easy-to-use digital platform

What We're Looking For:

• Active Pennsylvania Physician Assistant license
• NCCPA certification (PA-C)
• Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies
• At least 1 year of clinical PA experience (primary care, urgent care, emergency medicine, internal medicine, PM&R, or orthopedics preferred)
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
