Schedule
Weekends: Yes varies, approximately 4 weekend days/month. Block schedules required.
Assignment Details
Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience required.
- OR license required for this assignment.
- Required certifications: BLS, NBCOT.
- Experience in trauma level I/II preferred.
- Experience with electronic charting: Epic.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inpatient acute care assessments and evaluations.
- Develop and implement plans of care and discharge planning.
- Provide patient and family education, focusing on safety and injury prevention.
- Perform transfers and lifting techniques.
- Reassess patient progress and update treatment plans as needed.
- Design and supervise home exercise programs.
Compliance / Notes
Parking details will be provided, and scrubs of any color are acceptable; OR/Cath Lab scrubs will be provided.
