This role involves working closely within the radiology specialty to provide essential imaging services in a Level I trauma setting. Key Responsibilities of the Radiologic Technologist

• Perform radiology procedures, including select C.T. procedures
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and hospital staff
• Calibrate and operate radiology equipment, position patients appropriately, and apply restraining devices as necessary
• Initiate CPR as needed
• Utilize hospital and radiology computer and file systems effectively
• Interact with patient populations in a manner that respects their need for dignity and self-respect

Requirements of the Radiologic Technologist

• Graduate of an A.M.A approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Licensed as a Radiographer by the State of Ohio
• 2+ years of radiologic experience with Level I trauma experience
• CPR Certification
