Follow individualized treatment plans to help residents improve independence, safety, functional abilities, and quality of life.Documentation: Complete timely and accurate documentation of treatments provided, resident response to treatment, and progress toward established goals.Team Collaboration: Communicate regularly with the Occupational Therapist and collaborate with nursing, facility staff, residents, and families regarding resident progress, functional status, and changing needs.Professional Development: Participate in team development meetings and take advantage of opportunities to continue growing your clinical skills.RequirementsEducation: Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.Certification: Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).Licensure: Valid Indiana Occupational Therapy Assistant license or eligibility.Clinical Skills: Strong treatment skills with the ability to follow and implement individualized treatment plans under the direction and supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
