Shipping/Receiving Clerk Our client, a leading organization in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping/Receiving Clerk, you will be part of the Warehouse Operations supporting the Logistics and Inventory teams. Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Clerk Location: Manteno, IL Pay Range: $23 per/hr Shift: 1st (6am-2:30pm) Mon-Fri What's the Job? Execute daily inbound and outbound warehouse activities to ensure accurate receipt, documentation, staging, and shipping of materials and finished goods. Prepare, stage, and verify outbound shipments, ensuring correct SKU, lot, quantity, and documentation accuracy. Coordinate with carriers and drivers for dock assignments, loading times, and shipment execution, ensuring safety and efficiency. Receive inbound materials, verify quantities and conditions, and ensure proper labeling and system entry. Support inventory accuracy through transactions, cycle counts, and discrepancy investigations, maintaining an organized warehouse environment. What's Needed? High school diploma or GED required. 13 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations, preferably in a food manufacturing or regulated environment. Experience using ERP or WMS systems and handheld scanners preferred. Knowledge of FIFO, lot control, and basic traceability requirements.
