Electrical Mechanical Technician I

Becton Dickinson seeks an Electrical Mechanical Technician I to troubleshoot and maintain automated manufacturing equipment at a medical technology facility. The role involves diagnostic work on PLCs, control systems, and electrical-mechanical components, with a 12-hour night shift schedule in Broken Bow, Nebraska. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, and automation equipment Diagnose and correct PLC and control system malfunctions Install, test, repair, and maintain electrical control devices and related equipment Support engineering projects involving PLCs, servo systems, vision systems, and motor controls Perform preventive maintenance, calibration activities, and provide technician training Requirements Associate degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related technical field Minimum 2 years troubleshooting and repairing automated manufacturing equipment Experience with PLCs, drives, controls, and automation systems Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and documentation Licensed forklift operator certification Proficiency with electronic test equipment, hand tools, and computers Strong communication and teamwork skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Becton Dickinson
